			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img class="alignleft size-full wp-image-121" title="LP Clock Tower" src="http://lasalleinsider.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/lpclocktower1.bmp" alt="LP Clock Tower" border="10" width="250" height="375" />Today LP&#8217;s students and parents received notice from Dr. Craig Carter, L-P Superintendent, that a small piece of the spire architecture above the special ed north doors had fallen to the ground. &#8220;No one was hurt,&#8221; said Dr. Carter. &#8220;We immediately closed the entrance, notified our architect, and a local contractor will be making repairs early this morning. As a further safety precaution, the other spired entrances will be closed until they can be checked as well. &#8221;</p>
<p>Those arriving today at the school were advised to use the west gym entrance doors.</p>
