You know that pothole you keep hitting on the way to work that you really wish someone would fix? Or the abandoned and run-down house in your neighborhood that you really want to see completely demolished? Or any of the other issues and problems you notice around town that no one else seems to be dealing with. Well now you can do something about it! Using the SeeClickFix map, you can plot your problem, upload a photo, write a message, or even get your friends to add their comments and support. And you don’t even have to go to the SeeClickFix Web site to do it. Just use the map below to get started!
Here’s how: Using your mouse and/or the zoom feature on the map, drag the map to where you want to plot your problem. Then click on the map. This will plot a symbol where your problem exists and a window will pop up. Inside this window fill out the details about your problem. You don’t have to even give your name, and your e-mail stays private. No one at our site sees any of this – all information is sent and stored at the SeeClickFix Web site.
Using this window, you can also upload a photo of the problem that you took with your digital camera or mobile phone. When you are done, you can still drag your symbol to the exact location if for some reason it didn’t plot correctly. You can also click on other issues that have been plotted by other people and add your own comments.
If the city doesn’t seem to be fixing the problems, you can always e-mail them a link to the map so they can keep track of what needs to be done.
